Join us for a visit to the U-M Detroit Observatory, on campus! This event includes free registration to the "Exploring the 19th Century Solar System Event" Thursday, December 5th at 8PM. Residents will learn more about the scale of the solar system through presentations, activities, and an opportunity to engage in telescope observation! Additionally, all participants MUST register on Detroit Observatory website for a ticket, here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/exploring-the-19th-century-solar-system-tickets-1079783273839?aff=ebdsoporgprofile. Families including children are welcome to join. Prior to departure, please meet at the Northwood Community Center for a quick slice of pizza at 7 PM, before taking the U-M bus to the Observatory located on central campus.
