The judicial branch of the government is just as important as the executive and legislative branches. Judges rule on criminal and civil cases and interpret the laws. Federal judges are nominated by the President and approved by the Senate. In the states, judges may be appointed or elected. In Michigan, we get to vote for State Supreme Court justices, and this year there are two seats open on the court.

Join Turn Up Turnout for a nonpartisan, educational presentation on the Judiciary. FREE FOOD provided.
