The federal and state governments in the United States set policy that affects the lives of members of the LGBTQ community. Same-sex marriage, protection from discrimination, and access to gender-affirming care are some areas where federal and state policy impacts the lives of people in the LGBTQ community.

Join Turn Up Turnout for a nonpartisan, educational presentation on the history of the LGBTQ rights movement and the current state of LGBTQ Policy in the United States. FREE FOOD provided.
