Join us at the monthly lunch and learn sessions will be held in the Practice Office space in Suite 2700 unless otherwise stated. These programs are focused on interdisciplinary collaboration and learning and are rooted in principles of Design Thinking, Transformative Learning, and Experiential learning theory.

This workshop discusses some principles of equitable and effective community engagement at each process stage, before, during, and after the community-engaged project. We focus on cultural humility and respectful communication and guide participants through applying those principles to real-world community engagement scenarios.

Goals for the workshop include:

  • Participants will be able to recall and define one or two key principles of equitable and effective community engagement
  • Participants will be able to apply the principles of equitable and effective community engagement to real-world scenarios
