[MDining] 'Servsafe' Manager Certification (Always Food Safe)

These classes are conducted by MDining, to prepare and administer the safe food handlers exam for foodservice managers.  The state of Michigan requires that food service entities have a certified "Person in Charge" on duty at all times.

This class is intended for MDining Staff and Student Managers.  


We are implementing a new curriculum for this training. The State will recognize your certification through this program the same as it would ServSafe.

No book requried. Access to computer at home for studying is highly suggested. If you are having technology barriers please email mds-training@umich.edu for assistance.

Manager Certification Exam for those that need to update their Servsafe Certifications.  Not intended for first-time examinees.

Books can be picked up at 541 Thompson St., STE G240- ask for Gina, Joe, Sloane, Britney, or Allison.
