New to the U.S. or just want to feel more confident managing finances here? Join Dr. Heather Moore with Financial Education for a friendly workshop series designed for all - whether you’re learning the basics or looking to build on existing knowledge, Heather will provide the info you need. 

This event is the kick-off of a series of three workshops:

  • Friday, September 18: Navigating University Finances  & U.S. Banking Basics | Understand your student account, financial aid options for international students, Student Financial Services, late fees, scam prevention, and the basics of U.S. banking.
  • Friday, October 2: Budgeting, Living Costs & Financial Planning | Learn how to estimate monthly expenses, create a realistic student budget, and plan for the cost of living in the U.S.
  • Friday, October 16: Credit, Taxes & Building Long-Term Financial Success | Explore how credit works in the U.S., how to build credit safely, avoid costly debt, understand credit card interest, and prepare for tax filing responsibilities.

Refreshments provided! Bring your questions - there will be time for Q&A.
