Join us for an opportunity to tour and volunteer at the U-M Botanical Gardens, Campus Farms!
The campus farm is a student-driven living learning lab that supports sustainable food systems. Northwood residents are welcome to join sessions in May, June, July, and August to learn more about the farm, volunteer by harvesting seasonal goodies, and explore other exciting opportunities for engagement. Pizza lunch will be available at the farm!
Because the farm is not on the bus route, residents without transportation can meet RAs at the Community Center at 10:30AM for a vanpool. Families and children of residents are also invited to attend but must commute to the farm on their own.
We strongly recommend that participants wear long-sleeve shirts, pants, and closed-toed shoes to volunteer.
