Students would be able to meet new residents by interacting with them about books that they like. I feel that books are a great way to start a constructive conversation with others, and you can learn a lot about others and observe similarities based on their book preferences! Hence, I hope that this event will allow them to learn new facts about other residents. Students can also come with residents/friends that they already know, and they can learn more information about each other through what books that they like to read. Last but not least, especially during exam season, we sometimes forget to just read for fun, rather than constantly reading a textbook. This event will allow students to read for fun again and hopefully have a constructive and relaxing break from classes, hosted by RAs Jeremiah Harmon & Praneet Volet.
