Join TF and Pediatric dentist, Dr. Samita Gumber for a presentation on improving the dental care of your kids and an open discussion with parents. One hour session will include a presentation on common barriers to dental health care, some myths and facts related to baby teeth and answering parent's questions. Learn about the most luxurious classic cars built by American companies. Find out how the Eckhart Brothers, E.L. Cord, the Duesenberg Brothers, and Harry Stutz built their companies. Follow mergers between some of these companies and how the companies finally ended their production. This one-hour presentation displays the beauty of these automobiles and confirms that the saying “It’s a Duesy” refers to the very best in a field. Cars of these brands were owned by celebrities and you will see their favorites.

Join TF Rawan in attending the 25th Annual Rolling Sculpture Car Show. Taking place on Main, Liberty and Washington streets in the heart of downtown Ann Arbor, the Rolling Sculpture Car Show is a one of kind experience for everyone, but especially car enthusiasts. Spectators enjoy the energy of more than 300 exotic, antique, classic, and one of a kind cars. We will be meeting at the 2150 CC  at 7 PM and taking the bus down to Central Campus.

Join us for the 3rd Annual Detroit Kite Festival! Bring, borrow, or buy a kite on site, or let the kiddos make their own with our friends from the Detroit Institute of Arts. DKF mainstays like the "Will It Fly" tent and performances by Detroit's own WindJammers Kite Team return for 2019, too. There will be food (available for purchase), music, and some classic fun onsite! Meet us at 9:30AM at the 1000 McIntyre Community Center for *free transportation* to beautiful Belle Isle for an easy, breezy Sunday with friends and family, new and old. We will be leaving Belle Isle at 2:00 PM to head back to Northwood.

Join TF's Rawan & Samita in attending the Ann Arbor Art Fair, a Midwest tradition that draws nearly half a million attendees over four days in July! The largest juried art fair in the country, the Ann Arbor Art Fair will celebrate its 60th year in 2019. The art fair features more than 1,000 artists and a footprint spanning 30 city blocks in downtown Ann Arbor. In addition to art, the Ann Arbor Art Fair features a robust schedule, including stages with live music performances, artist demonstrations, family-friendly art activities for all ages and a wide array of food and beverage offerings.

Celebrate the 50th Moon Landing anniversary with a screening of Apollo 11, directed by Todd Douglas Miller. This feature documentary made its exciting theatrical release earlier this year with rare 70mm archival footage, as well as other never-before-seen footage from the NASA vaults, filmed before and during the mission. Experience the wonder, the preparation and anticipation, and the challenges and success of those historic first steps on the moon like never before! We will be meeting at 6:00 PM at the 2150 Cram Place CC and taking the bus to the library.

You are all invited to enjoy a pleasant 1-1/2 hour (3.7 miles) float through the city of Ann Arbor, beginning in Argo Park and ending in Gallup Park. Throughout this trip, paddlers will encounter an abundance of wildlife in a natural setting as you paddle through the UM Arboretum and other beautiful river parks.You must arrive at Argo Park between 10:00 - 11:00 AM. A shuttle will return you to Argo Park at the end.Space is limited, so register soon to get a boat! Sponsored by the Graduate Academic Initiatives

Join TF Samita and RA Tasmine over a documentary series. The first documentary is on Health and food called "Fed Up". This documentary highlights some facts on how obesity is related to food and so many other unknown factors. It will be followed by a discussion on moderation of food in all perspectives and inputs of viewers on helping each other to get better in food habits. Dinner provided.Limited registration. "Let's Hike" together and check another task from your summer bucket list. Join TF Samita to experience a beautiful hike at Nichols arboretum on Saturday, August 31. Meet at 1000 McIntyre at 8 a.m to leave for Arb. Nichols Arboretum Loop Trail is a 2.6 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located in Ann Arbor, Michigan that features a river and is good for all skill levels. Refreshments will be provided.
