Please join the Department of Germanic Languages & Literatures for a series of film screenings (shown in German with English subtitles). All films are held in North Quad 2435 with pizza served at 6pm and films beginning at 6:30pm, unless otherwise noted.

Free screening of Die belierne Zeit (English title: Marianna and Julianne). Pizza served at 6pm, film begins at 6:30pm.

Based on a fictionalized account of the true lives of Christiane and Gudrun Ensslin: "Two sisters both fight for women's rights. Juliane is a journalist and Marianne a terrorist. When Marianne is jailed, Juliane feels obligated to help her despite their differing views on how to live."
