Liberating Structures

Part of the fall 2018 Student Life Learning Series, this session will provide an overview of "Liberating Structures," a series of 33 tools and practices that can achieve efficient and inclusive group interaction by focusing on self-organizing methods which are commonly referred to as "structures". (A brainstorm is an example of a structure.) These structures dramatically change the way learning and results are generated without expensive investments, complicated training, or shifts in formal structure. They can be used at every level from executive offices to classrooms to committees and learning groups.

Because there are 33 of these tools, we'd like to expose people to as many of them as possible so the session will be from 9:00am-4:00pm with a break to grab lunch and then we'll keep working.
