International Center Friday Forum (UM Graduates on Post Completion OPT/Academic Training)

The International Center is hosting multiple information forums to share a range of recent visa and immigration updates with students on F-1 and J-1 visas and their dependents.  We will also discuss travel related topics to help International students make informed decisions.  You are encouraged to attend to better understand your student visa status, given the current immigration landscape

Target Audiences:

U-M graduates on post-completion Optional Practical Training or Academic Training from Ann Arbor.  

Key Topics:

• Assessing your travel risk and risk tolerance 

• Review of U-M travel and other resources

• Overview and updates on Executive Actions related to visa holders at U-M

• Updates for OPT students transitioning to H-1B

 Additional dates will be determined as needed.  Sessions will not be recorded.  This event is closed to the press.
