Black Brilliance: Navigating Identity and Professional Excellence
Black Brilliance welcomes all students interested in learning and engaging with a space created to explore the intersections of professional development and Black experiences. By centering Black identities and amplifying the voices and stories of those navigating systemic barriers in professional spaces, we prioritize the perspectives of Black individuals. Our goal is to empower participants with resources that promote equity and representation. Students will have an opportunity to engage with Black LSA and UCC alum mentors, peer-to-peer mentors, and career services staff from the LSA Opportunity Hub and the University Career Center. Learn how to access internship funding, participate in interactive financial education topics, engage with financial aid staff, and other professional development resources. Attendees are also encouraged to interact with the UCC Clothes Closet or take professional headshots. Through engaging in community-driven conversations, we celebrate resilience, uplift diverse narratives, and advocate for justice in professional growth and beyond.
