International Center Lobby - 1500 Student Activities Building

On Tuesday, March 4, 2025 many people in the state of Michigan will celebrate “Paczki Day'' (otherwise known as Fat Tuesday - the day before Ash Wednesday) by eating a jelly-filled pastry called a Paczki. Paczki  (pronounced POONCH-kee) are Polish pastries that bakeries around Michigan and the Midwest will prepare one time per year in celebration of this holiday! In other parts of the United States, Fat Tuesday is recognized by the more widely known Mardi Gras festival.

So that you experience a taste of this tradition, the International Center will have paczkis available - while supplies last -  starting at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, March 4th.

Register if you plan to stop by so that we can plan accordingly.
