Michigan University-Wide Sustainability and Environment (MUSE) Initiative: Rackham Interdisciplinary Workshop (RIW)

PhD students, together with other graduate students, postdocs, and faculty from across departments and disciplines gather often at the University of Michigan to share ideas, build collaborations, and foster innovation.  Michigan University-wide Sustainability and Environment (MUSE) gathers with the purpose to advance these broad conversations through seminars, book clubs, writing retreats, discussions, hackathons, and social events.

In the first MUSE meeting of the year, we gather to form relationships with people across disciplines working on sustainability research and practice.  We will discuss plans for MUSE this year so as to be able to deliver seminars, workshops and other events that meet the needs of this group.  All who are doing sustainability work and are interested in learning from people with different disciplinary backgrounds are encouraged to attend.
