The Art of Leading a Research Group
LSA-ADVANCE Workshops for Faculty 2023-24
This workshop is open to all U-M Faculty
This workshop is designed to provide assistant professors with helpful information about successfully managing an effective research group. New principal investigators are usually surprised by the demands of managing a project, their time, a laboratory, administrative tasks, and lab personnel. However, it is possible to design a research group that supports the outstanding teaching and research you want and need to do, without requiring your attention 24/7. Several faculty will share their best practices in this workshop.
