Classroom teachers from Southeast Michigan

The right to literacy and access to equitable education is both a local and national issue. Classroom teachers Meaghan Stanford (Macdowell Preparatory Academy) and Alexandrea Somers (Brewer Academy) join us to talk about literacy and overcoming educational inequity in classrooms. Join us on March 24, 2021 from 7-8pm to learn about how teachers have been working to support children and families during the COVID pandemic, meet other UM students interested in advancing educational equity, and learn how you can get involved.
