There are many efforts to thank essential workers such as health care workers, first responders, grocery store workers, and delivery people among others. However, the essential workers that often get forgotten are the child care providers providing care for the children of essential workers. They are the backbone helping to support all other efforts. We will be partnering with the Child Care Network to write thank you notes to these care takers, who will then distribute the letters to the over 1100 providers in the southeastern Michigan region, over 300 of which are in Washtenaw County.
Electronic thank yours can be submitted to info@childcarenetwork.org. Hand written or art projects can be delivered to the Community Center and the Munger RAs will mail them!
