Munger Fellows Events 2019-2020 View Other Sessions

Here at Munger Graduate Residences, we recognize it is important for graduate and professional students to learn and grow outside of their academic disciplines.  This is why we developed the Munger Graduate Program.  Throughout the year, graduate and professional students living both in Munger and outside of Munger have the opportunity to take part in events focused on building community and developing transdisciplinary skills essential for success in 21st-century careers.

Join the Munger fellows and RAs to see Mariachi Vargas de Tecalitán! Founded in a small city near Jalisco by Don Gaspar Vargas in the 1890s, this band basically invented the modern mariachi. With world-class vocalists and instrumentalists, flawless ensemble work, impeccable taste in repertoire, and spellbinding showmanship, the group never fails to engage its audience. Free tickets available for 9 people. Plan to meet in the Munger lobby around 7:30pm to walk over together!
