Overview: Tasks include gardening and grounds work on Growing Hope Urban Farm.
Timing: Volunteer activity is from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm, followed by lunch at 12:00 pm provided by the School of Public Health. (Please note: 8:15 am - 1:00 pm time listed above allows for travel time to and from the site.)
Dress Code: Volunteers should dress to be outdoors: closed-toe shoes and long pants are required. We recommend volunteers dress in layers to be comfortable outside for the duration of the workday. Clothes should be able to get dirty. Please remove all loose jewelry. Growing Hope Urban Farm is a scent-free zone. Volunteers are encouraged to bring their own reusable water bottles.
