Many discussions under the umbrella of diversity, equity, and inclusion focus on what we can do moving forward, without holding sufficient space to deal with the wounds and potentially trauma that inequality, oppression, and marginalization can cause. In the belief that healing is a form of social justice, this session focuses on strategies individuals and communities can use to heal from the trauma of identity-based trauma.
This workshop is designed for graduate students and postdoctoral fellows. Space is limited. For faculty and staff, please contact RackhamEvents@umich.edu to see if we can accommodate your attendance.
