Our October advisor development opportunity will be an informal discussion to share questions, tips, concerns, and best practices around advising a student organization.
Please join us on Tuesday, October 29, from 1-2pm in Room 4 of the Michigan League for a round table discussion. Light snacks will be provided but feel free to bring your lunch as well.
Some general discussion questions will be provided, including:
- How have you defined and enforced policies for your student organization in additional to the general University policies enforced by CCI?
- How does your unit handle funding for your sponsored student organization? How does your student organization handle funding it's operations?
- What issues are you navigating this year with your student organization?
There will be time to bring your own questions to the group as well.
