Advisor Training

The Center for Campus Involvement is committed to supporting our student organization advisors in their critical work with the University of Michigan's student organizations. Part of that support includes in person training sessions to deliver important information related to student organizations to advisors.

Center for Campus Involvement

Our October advisor development opportunity will be an informal discussion to share questions, tips, concerns, and best practices around advising a student organization.

Please join us on Tuesday, October 29, from 1-2pm in Room 4 of the Michigan League for a round table discussion. Light snacks will be provided but feel free to bring your lunch as well.

Some general discussion questions will be provided, including:

  • How have you defined and enforced policies for your student organization in additional to the general University policies enforced by CCI?
  • How does your unit handle funding for your sponsored student organization? How does your student organization handle funding it's operations?
  • What issues are you navigating this year with your student organization?

There will be time to bring your own questions to the group as well.

Space is limited, so we appreciate your RSVP to make sure we have enough space. We hope to see you there!
