How to Speak Your Mind, How to Change Your Mind: The University Edition (with President Emeritus Lee C. Bollinger)
What makes genuine open inquiry possible, and what responsibility do universities have to protect it?
Join former University of Michigan President Emeritus Lee C. Bollinger for a keynote and conversation on free expression, academic freedom, and the role of the university in a democratic society. Drawing from his scholarship and his recent book, University: A Reckoning, Bollinger will reflect on the challenges facing higher education today and the conditions needed for meaningful intellectual exchange.
The program will include a moderated conversation and audience Q&A, followed by a strolling reception designed to keep the conversation going.
Bonus: The first 50 registrants will receive a free copy of University: A Reckoning. Books will also be available for purchase at the event.
