Join SMTD Student Success for a special conversation with Cara Kizer, Sammy Sussman, and antonio c. cuyler. The discussion will focus on high-profile allegations of sexual misconduct against members of the New York Philharmonic and the immediate effects of those allegations being made public. It will also address issues of organizational culture around sexual assault and harassment in and beyond the performing arts.
Sammy Sussman is an investigative reporter and an SMTD alumni. Sammy wrote about sexual misconduct in the New York Philharmonic, which included Cara’s story. While at Michigan, he wrote for The Daily about allegations against professors in SMTD and other schools.
antonio c. cuyler is Professor of Music in Entrepreneurship & Leadership and Founder of Cuyler Consulting, LLC. antonio has worked with many cultural organizations on access, diversity, equity, inclusion (ADEI), and creative justice issues in the creative sector.
