Join us for a casual meet and greet with recently returned Peace Corps Volunteer, Maureen Kenny! Maureen is a first-year Master of Public Health candidate in the Global Health Management and Policy Department at the University of Michigan's School of Public Health. She is passionate about women's health equity and is interested in pursuing a career at the intersection of public health and international development. Before studying at Michigan, she served as a Community Health Outreach Volunteer in Senegal from 2023 to 2025. During her service, she collaborated with a rural health clinic to develop initiatives like pregnant women's support groups and community gardens to promote health-based knowledge and healthy behaviors. Outside of the classroom, Maureen enjoys reading, and cooking for friends!
