Join QMSS Peer Mentors and the QMSS Program Manager to learn about the Quantitative Methods in the Social Sciences minor program in LSA! We will talk about the courses we offer (most are open to all students, regardless of declaration status!), the skills we teach (Excel, R, Python, Tableau, data analysis, data visualization, data communication), and the potential uses for various career and graduate school paths after graduation (read: ADD THIS TO YOUR RESUME!). You will have plenty of time to ask questions along the way and get to know some of the team that keeps this program going!
This will be a hybrid event, with the in-person location in the low-rise portion of Weiser Hall, room 260. In person perks: pizza, snacks, QMSS swag, networking with Peer Mentors, faculty, and staff.
