SACNAS and PUENTES are super excited to announce our seminar series: Cafe y Ciencia: Conectando Mentes Hispanas.
Remember those times you wished to engage with fellow Hispanic communities (i.e, your Spanish-speaking family), but were unable to explain your science in Spanish? This is a first-of-a-kind experience where you will develop skills to share your scientific progress in another language.
This is a space where the scientific community at U-M can not only present their research in Spanish, but also foster peer mentorship and build confidence in communicating scientific ideas in Spanish.
The first meeting will be held on November 11, 11 am-12 pm
