2021 Interfaith Conference - Student Workshops (U-M Students Only)

The goal of this conference and the greater work of the Interfaith Program at Trotter Multicultural Center is to normalize the exploration and expression of Religion, Spiritual, Secular (RSS) identity and bring people together so that they can find a greater sense of belonging within the U-M community. These workshops will create space for students of diverse RSS identities to learn from one another and engage students in exploring how their RSS identities contribute to their experiences within the U-M community.

What tools can faith communities utilize in engaging in dialogue across multiple and emerging political and cultural differences? How can experiences within our faith community better prepare us to model racial equity and inclusion for utilization in broader environments? Join Yavilah McCoy for an interactive exploration of contemporary wisdom and current best practices for navigating multi-faith, multiracial and multicultural differences in 2021, in service of justice.
