Have you ever performed a Google search to find resources for an assignment and become overwhelmed with millions of results? Yup, so have we! Spend 50 minutes with librarians who can show you how to navigate the U-M Library's virtual resources and services to find just the items you need to successfully complete your academic work. We will show you how to tailor your searches and save tons of time by finding relevant, peer reviewed resources. We will also talk about getting your hands on those items during the COVID-19 closures of the physical library buildings.

This workshop will utilize the High5 Strengths assessment to show you your top five strengths. You will then process your results with your fellow graduate students and develop strategies to implement them into your daily practice.

In this workshop, we will broadly discuss and define the hidden curriculum of graduate school and provide recommendations for how to navigate some of the things that are not explicitly taught.
