Reading Groups for Anti-Racism
Wolverine Wellness staff will be hosting two book groups during the summer. We will read and discuss anti-racist literature with an eye toward expanding our capacity to move toward, rather than away from, potentially uncomfortable conversations about race. This is an intentional, focused space in which to discuss the systematic structures of racism and the work we can do individually and community wide to dismantle them using the information from our texts and the lessons learned each session.
Each group will meet 1-2 times during the month to provide opportunity for community and dialogue. Meeting times will be after the groups are formed and availability is checked.
