First day of Connections Week! After checking in and enjoying breakfast, Dr. Cherie Dotson will deliver welcoming remarks and we’ll get an overview of the RMF fellowship and hear about Graduate Student and Program Consultation services. In the afternoon, we’ll hear from Library Resources and take a group photograph. Breakfast will be available from 8-9:30am. Lunch is scheduled for 12-1:30pm.
Second day of Connections Week! We'll spend the morning sharing our autobiographical presentations (check Canvas for your room assignments), and after lunch get our bearings with a campus-wide scavenger hunt! Breakfast is available from 8-9am. Lunch is scheduled for 12-1:30pm.
Third day of Connections Week! We'll have a morning session with Counseling and Psychological Services to learn about what they offer graduate students. Breakfast is available from 8-9am. During the afternoon, we'll be hosting a number of self care events and offering lunch during "Wellness Wednesday," in an outdoor venue if the weather permits. See separate Sessions form to register for outdoor event.
Fourth day of Connections Week! The morning starts with us taking part in a CliftonStrengths assessment before hearing from Kirsten Elling about Graduate Student career services. The afternoon is yours to relax, explore, and enjoy Ann Arbor. Breakfast is available 8-9am. Lunch is scheduled for 11:30-1pm.
Fifth day of Connections Week! We'll hear from graduate students about their experiences at Umich and go over some important information you should know about taxes in graduate school. After lunch, we'll have an Ice Cream Social before giving you the afternoon off. Breakfast is available from 8-9am. Lunch and an ice cream social is scheduled for 12:30-2pm.
