Welcome, Cook Scholars! This page outlines engagement events scheduled for Cook Scholars and guests for the current term. Registration is necessary so that we can be sure to have the appropriate set up, resources, and food quantities for the group's size. Please let us know if you have accessibility requirements beyond what is listed; it is important to use that everyone have access to these programs (cookscholars@umich.edu). 







Meet at Michigan Union North Entrance (by Cube); Regents Plaza

We’re going as a group to the 35th Annual After Class Bash with Cook Scholars, meeting at the Michigan Union north entrance doors (by the Cube) at 4pm. Look for the Cook Scholars t-shirts. Enjoy the day off from classes with our inflatables, hula-hooping, chalk art, free shirts, free food, live music, and lawn games!

Cook Scholars, sign up to host the seniors from Shiawassee County who come to campus for the annual Bruce & Jackie Cook Campus Visit.


You'll meet the group at the hotel, touring, dinner at Pizza House and then you'll have free time with several students, taking them around to your favorite spots.

Pizza House on Church Street

It's time for the annual Cook Scholars Pizza Party on Tuesday, September 30, 4:30-6:30pm. We'll meet all new and returning students at Pizza House on Church Street, just a short walk from the Diag on Central Campus. This event is sponsored by the Cook Family Foundation, who will be in attendance, as well as U-M Cook Scholars. Also present will be the Shiawassee Students of U-M student organization. You'll hear all about events we've got lined up for you, as well as volunteer/service opportunities throughout the year.
