Help clean up the garden beds at this park by cutting back dead vegetation, weeding, mulching, and potentially planting new plants. This work refreshes the garden bed and makes it more beautiful for all community members to enjoy! This is an outdoor opportunity involving weeding and park clean-up. Wear weather appropriate, comfortable clothing that can get dirty and close-toed shoes. Don't forget sunscreen and bug spray!

Location: Ann Arbor Senior Center – A parks facility offering a range of programming for Ann Arbor Residents, located next to Burns Park (https://maps.app.goo.gl/qSfGLC4TDrv9UzSV6)

This is an outdoor opportunity involving garden work and beautification of a housing property. Wear weather appropriate, comfortable clothing that can get dirty and close-toed shoes. Don't forget sunscreen and bug spray!

Location: Stimson apartment properties located at 800-832 Stimson St (https://maps.app.goo.gl/t41nyNq2ipTXGmST8), which is across from the Salvation Army thrift store off of State Street (also where volunteers can park)

This is an outdoor opportunity at the historical Nichols Arboretum Peony Garden with weeding for end of the summer garden health and clean-up! All volunteers will need to be able to bend, stand, crouch, and move plant material. Volunteers will need to dress in closed toe shoes, pants/shorts, hat, and t-shirts they don't mind getting dirty - we encourage water bottles and a snack.

This opportunity begins with a tour of the Campus Farm. You may be outdoors, and this opportunity involves farm work like harvesting, planting, or weeding. This opportunity involves a tour of the Ronald McDonald House, preparing lunch for families with children in the hospital, baking treats, and other service activities.
