Janine Chouinard

Join us for a casual meet and greet with University of Michigan alumna and currently serving Peace Corps Volunteer, Janine! She will be back in the U.S. visiting family and will join us in Ann Arbor for the afternoon! 

Janine Chouinard is an educator interested in trauma-informed practices, language teaching, and equity in the classroom. She graduated from the School of Education's SecMAC program in 2023 and decided to pursue a pre-pandemic dream of joining the Peace Corps. Janine is currently serving as a TEFL volunteer in a rural Colombian town about an hour from Bogotá. When Janine isn't teaching, she loves to hike, read, and learn to play the guitar.

Reneé Price

Join us for a casual meet and greet with University of Michigan student and recently returned Peace Corps Volunteer, Reneé Price! Reneé served in Morocco in the Youth-in-Development sector.

Reneé Price is a returned Youth Development Specialist Volunteer with Peace Corps Morocco (2023-2025) and is enrolled in the Masters International Volunteer Program at the UMich School of Social Work. She is returning to complete her MSW and will graduate in the spring of 2026. Serving under the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Delegation,her primary work site was at the women's vocational center in the city of Beni Mellal that served approximately 100 women each year from the ages of 14 and older. She worked on 5 primary projects throughout her service: teaching conversational English, passport to success, immersion camps, life skills and English workshop, and community immersion. She is excited to share more and answer any and all questions related to Peace Corps Service and life in the majestic country of Morocco!

We'll provide lunch!
