Transdisciplinary Fellow Sebastian is hosting a snack hour in Spanish for graduate students at the Northwood Community Center. Spanish speakers of all levels, beginner to native, are encouraged to attend. He will have food, drinks, music, and some activities on hand. See you there!

Join the Northwood Transdisciplinary Fellows to make a shadow box (a small wooden box with a transparent/ glass cover used to display small objects and photos). We will have the boxes (5x7), hot glue guns, paints, plenty of decorations, and pizza. You should bring photographs and small objects to personalize yours.

Join the Tfs to cheer on the Umich women's volleyball team as they take on Illinois. We will meet at the Northwood CC and take the bus to central campus together. Admission is free for people with Mcards, so please bring your Mcard!

Join the Northwood TFs for a night of art making! We will have mini canvases to paint, leftover mugs and tote bags to decorate, and even some shadowboxes. Participants are encouraged to make their own craft with the available supplies (or even bring something that they are working on at home). We will also have pizza and some music.

Lady Bird (2017, Dir Greta Gerwig) tells the story of Christine "Lady Bird" McPherson (Saoirse Ronan)'s coming of age in 2003 Sacramento. Gerwig directed this film shortly before directing Little Women (2019) and Barbie (2023). It stars Saoirse Ronan, Timothee Chalamet, Laurie Metcalf, and Beanie Feldstein.
