Join your RA for your opening floor meeting! 

Residents will meet RAs Sari, Erin, and Sarah in the Alice Lloyd living room at 1:50 pm on September 1st. We will do a quick icebreaker where people will share their names, pronouns if comfortable, year, and favorite musical artist. Then, we will provide a description of what the Spectrum Center is and a quick overview of what kinds of resources you can expect to find at Pride Outside. We will encourage folks to walk with someone they don’t know on the walk over, and talk about how their first week of classes went. When we arrive at Ingalls Mall, we will allow residents to walk around the event by themselves but also will travel as a group with residents who would like to stick together.

Bring your own game or choose from a wide selection. 

Take an early afternoon to relax and recharge with a picnic in the Arb. Build community with your friends as we eat lunch and play some games!

Join RA Megan for a campus game night at Mason Hall! Meet in Alice Lloyd Community Center at 5:30pm, then walk to Mason Hall together!

Meet at 2nd Floor Entrance of Alice Lloyd Hall at 12pm, We'll head to the farmer's market in Kerrytown together!

Join Alice Lloyd RA's for a great night where we will reflect on what we are grateful for as a community, and get to know each other better. We will conclude the event with a movie!

1st Angell Residents! Join Megan and your hallmates for an evening of Paint & Pastries!

At 6:00pm, we will meet on Alice Lloyd’s second floor near the observatory entrance. We will wait until 6:10pm and embark on our walk to the Forest Hill Cemetery, located in front of Mosher Jordan Residential Hall. As we walk through the cemetery and into The Arb, we will have conversations reflecting on how the academic year is going, specifically focusing on mental health. At the end of the event, we will head back to Alice Lloyd. Throughout, we will share resources!

Meet at the 2nd floor exit of Alice Lloyd at 5:30, and walk over with the group. Once we arrive at Markley, there will be a section reserved for us, so we will put our stuff down and head to the make your own pizza line!

Want a place to show your creativity, express your identity, or make something totally new? Join RA Martha in the Art Studio at 3:00pm on 11/2 for a zine-making event of epic proportions! What's a zine? A tiny magazine meant to communicate ideas, opinions, and much more!

This is an all around the world event. Where residents can come and learn about where different kinds of candy originated from. We hope to educate others and give another space where residents can enjoy themselves. We will set out candy and than let residents learn and walk by (picking up candy). We hope for residents to enjoy themselves and learn a lot of different information. 

Come join us for a movie night to destress from school and academics! We will vote on what movie at the beginning of the evening.

Stop by for some conversation, coloring, and hot chocolate with the residents of 4th Kleinstueck in Alice Lloyd!

Test your music and movie knowledge and meet new friends!

Come watch the Michigan vs. Indiana football game and learn about "Stay in the Blue!"

Join RA Rudana in a fun night filled with art, good conversations, and a fun time!

Come join RAs Colin, Megan, and Ibrahim for an where we will taste dishes from places all around the world! Please bring a written recipe that is important to your culture to share!

Come together with fellow residents to create something new! There will be many types of crafts, such as bracelet making, coloring, collage making, etc.

Meet on 2nd Floor of Alice Lloyd at 3:55pm, walk to Observatory together!

Join LSWA MLC RAs Sarah Griffith and Erin Knape in a card-making event in the Alice Lloyd Living Room. We will have supplies to make thank you notes or other notes of gratitude for you to distribute to people that you are thankful for, or who have made a positive impact on you. Enjoy a relaxing, positive environment amongst community.

Join your RAs for a fun group dance session where we'll dance along to just dance videos together. There will also be food provided.

Meet in Alice Lloyd 1st floor lobby, then head over to the Crisler Center together! Bring your UM ID!

Want to feel cozy? Already feeling cozy but want to feel cozier? Join RA Erin for Cozy Corner in Vicky Barner Multicultural Lounge from 12:00 pm-1:00 pm on November 30th! It will be an afternoon of board games, music, coloring, and bracelet-making. There will be hot cocoa and cookies, so feel free to stop by!

Alice Lloyd Hall was founded in 1949, making this year the 75th anniversary of the building's founding. Celebrate with a birthday-style event and enjoy food, games, a photo booth, and more!

This installment of the Conversation Series is titled "Can One Person Make a Difference? If so, How?" and features Irene Butter (Professor Emerita of Public Health, Holocaust survivor, and peace activist) alongside other U-M faculty and staff.

Hello Fifth Angell and Palmer!  Enjoy a cute and fun Pal-entine's Day Party in your RA's room (5549) on Thursday, February 13th, from 5-7!  It's an open house, so feel free to stop in for two minutes or the whole two hours!  I'll have cookies, crafts, and games and just overall good vibes.  Hope to see you there to kick off the holiday weekend!
