Scholarships and Fellowships: Virtual Summer Kick-off Sessions!

The Office of National Scholarships and Fellowships would like to invite you to virtual kick-off sessions for ONSF-supported programs! These introductory sessions will provide basic information about programs such as the Truman Scholarship and STEM RCA Award. These sessions are open to students in all years and there will be time for questions after each presentation.

The Truman Scholarship provides up to $30,000 for graduate education and professional development for future leaders committed to public service careers. Only juniors can apply, but ONSF also welcomes freshmen and sophomores who want to know more about the program and potentially apply in a future year.

The STEM Research Career Award is a U-M based scholarship opportunity for sophomores and juniors in STEM. By applying for STEM RCA, you will also be automatically considered for the national Goldwater Scholarship and Astronaut Scholarship. Join ONSF for an introduction to these scholarships and learn how you can apply now or in the future. All years welcome!

The Knight-Hennessy Scholars program provides up to three years of tuition for graduate study at Stanford! Join us to learn more about applying to this graduate program. All years are welcome.

ONSF offers support to two programs that would allow students to pursue fully-funded graduate study in China: Peking University's Yenching Scholars Program and Tsinghua University's Schwarzman Scholars!

Yenching covers a 2-year master's in China Studies and Schwarzman covers a master's degree in Global Affairs. All years are welcome to come learn more about applying for these two opportunities.
