Dawn is a principal medical science liaison at Genentech covering breast, gastrointestinal, and gynecological cancers in Texas. Since joining Genentech in 2016, she has taken on the responsibility of providing clinical expertise in medical research communications to support collaborative interests of KOLs in her region. She has built and cultivated relationships serving as a liaison to internal and external partners that support the discovery and development for life changing medicines in the field of oncology. She serves as the diversity and inclusion lead for her team to drive awareness and education to address health equity and clinical research disparities in support of Genentech’s Advancing Inclusive Research initiative.
Krystal Harrison, Ph.D.

Krystal earned her Ph.D. in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology from the University of Michigan in 2020. Yes, she is a Pandemic Doctor and wears that badge with honor! Her doctorate work focused on studying visual processing in the retina. Specifically, it examined how ganglion-cell photoreceptors, are more than just output neurons serving to send electrical signals to the brain to process our visual environment. In fact, in response to light, they can send signals back into the retina and I explored how these cells communicate with other neurons (e.g., amacrine cells) and the impact this connection has on vision. Currently, Krystal is a Senior Pharmaceutical Sales Representative for Eli Lilly and Company. Every day, she has the unique opportunity to not only impact the lives of patients by serving as a partner to Health Care Providers, but also get to showcase her love for science & translational research.
Lydia Mensah, Ph.D.

Lydia Mensah is an associate consultant at McKinsey & Company from Baton Rouge, LA. She participated in the Timbuktu Academy from middle through high school and went on to graduate from Louisiana School of Math Science and the Arts. After which, she attended Xavier University of Louisiana (XULA) and majored in chemistry A.C.S with a minor in math where she conducted undergraduate research and was a participant of LSAMP and MARC. After graduating from XULA with honors, she matriculated through the materials science and engineering Ph.D. program at the University of Michigan as a Rackham Merit Fellow and National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellow.
Rosalyn Kent, Ph.D.
Senior TS&D Specialist with ICT TS&D

Rosalyn Kent joined Dow Inc. in February 2019 in the research assignments program (RAP). She began her first assignment in Dow Performance Silicones with the Advanced Assembly Solutions group in Auburn, MI. In this TS&D role, she worked on multiple projects including launching a new product, EC-6601, electrically conductive (EC) adhesive, formulating a new EC spray coating and evaluating competitive EC silicone products. Her work in these areas contributed to two external awards, Edison Award and R&D 100 Award, and one internal Technical Achievement Award. In her second RAP assignment with P&SP High Pressure Copolymers R&D, Rosalyn worked on new ELVALOYTM RET resins for paving applications to address elastic recovery performance gaps of commercial resin grades. Rosalyn completed her final assignment in the NA Digital Marketplace Center developing new digital tools for PU Predictive Intelligence. Currently, Rosalyn is a senior TS&D specialist in the P&SP Infrastructure, Consumer, Transportation (ICT) group. In this role she is responsible for application development efforts in the Infrastructure segment, specifically supporting flooring and glass lamination customer development projects.
