Join us for a free shopping trip to IKEA, a popular Scandinavian store offering thousands of items for kitchens, living rooms, bedrooms, and more. IKEA offers home furnishings and essentials to help you prepare for life at Michigan. Open to all NEW UM students.
Small items purchased during the trip may be stored in the bus's baggage compartment. Please remember that students are responsible for transporting any purchases from the bus to their housing location after returning to campus. Delivery may be available for larger items through IKEA, including options starting at $19 for IKEA Family members.
Students may also be eligible for a one-time 15% off IKEA student discount. To receive the coupon, students must be IKEA Family members and verify their student status in advance. Students are also encouraged to download the IKEA App and use the “Scan & Go” feature for a faster shopping experience, especially on busy days.
This trip is free, but advance registration is required. There are 18 trip options available. Please select one departure group when registering.

The bus will depart from and return to the (still confirming campus location) and take about 45 minutes to reach IKEA.Space is limited on the bus, and advance registration is required.You must take the designated return bus for your group. It is NOT possible to take another bus due to space limitations. If you miss the bus, you will be responsible for getting yourself back to Ann Arbor (via Uber, etc.).
