Join RA Aliyah for a Moana watch party, a story about a girl who follows her dreams with immense courage despite many things/people who may have been holding her back. This experience is similar to one that many gender-minoritized students also face in STEM. While residents are watching the movie, they will complete a letter to themselves that encourages them to follow their dreams and tells their future self that they know they could do it. The purpose of this activity is to inspire residents to believe in themselves, and manifest bravery for their future self to read about when they are feeling down at any time during the semester.
