This event is designed to help residents reflect on their personal identities and values in a STEM context, foster a sense of community, and engage in a creative, hands-on activity. The event will begin with an introduction to the goals and activity, followed by a reflection period where participants fill out a periodic table template with words or symbols representing their identities and values. They will then create larger "element tiles" summarizing their STEM identity in the style of periodic table elements, using creative materials like markers and stickers. These tiles will be assembled into a collective "Periodic Table of Us" display, symbolizing the diversity and unity of the group. Participants will gather to reflect on the display and share insights, followed by time to mingle and enjoy themed snacks.
