Issues in STEM Discussion Group

WISE is hosting monthly conversations about how science and engineering work gets done.

Session Is Over
Undergraduate Science Building - 3236 (WISE Office)

For the October "Issues in STEM" discussion group, we will talk about two different examples of how science and engineering innovations have been used to ensure segregation, oppression, and systemic marginalization: the freeway system in Los Angeles, California and the development of the rape kit.

Anyone is welcome to participate, whether you've listened to/watched/read this month's piece(s) or not. Feel free to bring your lunch.
