The event will begin with HRAs Jeremiah Harmon & Rita Yammine preparing the catering and drinks within the Perlman Honors Commons around 4pm. The blocks, provided by the team, will be placed at a long table, allowing students to look around before selecting what sets they want to build. Students will be free to grab food, grab some blocks, and chat with residents in an enjoyable environment.

RA Aiden Becker, Bryan Hong, Catherine Dubravec; Augustine Ajayi & Thet Nwe; Aimee Doneth & Devansh Shende; & Jordyn Riley, Medesse Fagnon, Madina Mohsini, & Vera Sivrieva) will host the September Be Well Monday CBA in the Yuri Kochiyama Lounge at 6pm. An RA event in South Quad called "Let's Taco-bout Wellness". The purpose of this event is to provide residents with a space to learn about wellness, connect with one another, and enjoy a meal and snacks while getting to know one another. Additionally, it is a great opportunity for RA's to connect residents to wellness resources available to them on campus, such as Wolverine Wellness and CAPS. This event will be a Community Building Activity open to all South Quad/Fletcher residents and hosted by a large group of RA's that work within the two buildings.

At 8PM, the doors will be open, and students will talk to HRAs about which book fits their preference. After that, they will be free to grab snacks, chat with other residents, and get a headstart in reading their novels.

RAs David Ding & Phu LeResidents will gather in the Yuri Kochiyama Lounge at 1:00 PM Eastern (TBD Tentative) to watch Michigan football together. Before residents arrive, we will arrange seating and check that the game broadcast and sound are working. We will welcome residents, introduce people who do not know one another, and encourage conversation during breaks in the game. Both regular football fans and residents unfamiliar with the sport are welcome, and we will help explain the game as needed. Residents can stop by throughout the event to watch, socialize, and relax. At the end, we will help residents clean up and return the lounge to its original setup.

The event is called, Mindful Monday: Midterms Edition and is centered around well-being and mindfulness during exam season. The RAs will be providing fidget toys, coloring pages, and calming music to create a relaxing space for everyone. We hope residents take the time to relax with us and take their minds off stressful exams and projects.

RAs Augustine Ajayi & Thet Nwe will host this event to create a relaxing and welcoming space where residents can take a break from academics, spend time with one another, and build stronger connections within the 5th Floor Bush community. The Tea Party will be held in the Game Room from 2:00 - 4:00 PM, and residents will be able to drop in throughout the event. Free macarons, tiramisu, lattes, and matcha will be provided so residents can enjoy refreshments while talking, playing games, and meeting people they may not normally interact with.

RAs Madina Mohsini & Vera Sivrieva will host the Monstober event allows residents to de-stress before or unwind after midterms! Residents can connect with each other to recharge their social batteries over food, goodie bags, and a Halloween-themed movie. We know academics can be overwhelming, but we hope that participants can get in the holiday spirit and build community.

HRAs Jeremiah Harmon & Rita Yammine will meet in the community center around 8:50am and wait for residents to show up. Around 9-9:10am, HRAs and students will enter SQ dining hall, get food, and begin community bonding. Conversation will be had regarding the upcoming football game, as well as Halloween festivities. Students will feel a sense of belonging within the community as well as avoid high-risk programming.

RAs Jordyn Riley & Medesse Fagnon intend to give residents a fun and engaging activity to participate in on Halloween, since most people will be outside. The event is an opportunity for students in the residence halls to socialize and have fun in a way that celebrates the holiday. By providing pumpkin painting sets we create a fun outlet for residents and allow them to have fun in a safe environment. We want the event to be a drop in, casual event where they can talk and socialize with others, thus the lounge setting and independent nature of the program.

HRAs Kayla and Wren are hosting a Game Day Breakfast in the South Quad Dining Hall on September 5th at 10am. Kayla and Wren will meet residents in the South Quad Lobby and then find a table to sit together and share a meal. The goal of this event is to get to know residents better, foster community within the building, and remind students to properly fuel up before the first football game of the season! We hope residents take the opportunity to get to know their neighbors better and make new friends.

Fletcher RAs Aiden Becker, Bryan Hong & Catherine Dubravec, plan to have an RA at a table near the entrance to the game room, greeting residents and checking them in on Sessions as they enter the game room. Then, another RA will greet residents after they have checked in and will direct residents to the food provided at the event. The third RA will then be directing residents to board games and engaging with residents as they participate in the event. Participating in the event includes eating popsicles or chips, and/or playing board games with other residents.

The overarching principle of "Game Day Breakfast" is to present an opportunity for residents to connect and bond prior to the football game. Through active conversation and engaging dialogue facilitated by the RA Felipe Canaca & Harman Singh, leading the breakfast, our vision is for the event to serve as a friendly space for residents to not only mingle and have fun, but also meet new, unfamiliar faces they had not previously encountered. At the end of the breakfast, the primary goal is for resident experience is to gain lasting friendships and make South Quad a more welcoming environment for them.

During the game, we will be going around encouraging residents to interact with each other and with the RAs. Overall, this should be a pretty open and free events designed so residents can come and go and socialize as they please. We want residents to become closer with the other residents in their hall and spending 2 hours watching a common interest seems like a good way to do that.

The residents will write a letter to their future selves reflecting on their current goals, hopes, and priorities for the academic year. Paper, pencils, and envelopes will be provided, along with optional reflection prompts. Residents will seal their letters to be opened on May 1, 2027, giving them a chance to look back on their growth and accomplishments.
