In this session students will engage in discussion and learning activities to enhance their understanding of professional integrity and what it means to act with professionalism during their academic career. Students will learn how these skills and strategies can translate into the next chapter of their lives, including their career and future goals.

Managing the dynamics of a team can be tricky, but it all comes down to understanding how others work, how you like to work, and how you can all work together. In this session, we will talk about understanding how you function in a group and how that works with other styles. Then we will discuss strategies to help yourself navigate this in everyday life with your peers.

The self-awareness that comes from understanding core values and practicing vulnerability can help build grounded confidence. Using Brene Brown’s research from her work, Dare to Lead, participants will engage with strategies and skills to practice resilience.
