LSA Transfer Student Days

Congratulations on your admission to the College of Literature, Science, and the Arts (LSA)! Are you interested in learning more about LSA? Do you want to meet current transfer students and professionals from across campus who are here to help you? Attending one of our Transfer Student Days will allow you to hear about new and great things going on in LSA, meet current students, faculty, and staff, and help you decide if the College of Literature, Science, and the Arts is the right fit for you!

We will begin with a brief presentation to make sure you understand your next steps and get all of your questions answered about transfer credits, registering, financial aid, declaring majors and anything else you are wondering about. Next, we will have a panel of Transfer Ambassadors who can answer all your questions about the transfer student experience in LSA. We will end the day with an opportunity for you to meet with four programs that provide amazing opportunities and resources for transfer students: Transfer Connections mentorship, the LSA Opportunity Hub, the Undergraduate Research Opportunity Changing Gears Program, and optiMize.   

Each day's program will be the same so you only need to attend one. 

Note on Registration: In order to register for Transfer Student Days you will need to have a U-M uniqname, a Friend Account, or you can register with a Google, Microsoft, or Twitter account. For admitted students who have not yet enrolled at the university, a Friend Account is required to access all university systems, such as financial aid and scholarships so it is a good idea to create one. Transfer Student Days will take place via Zoom and you will receive the Zoom log in details in the confirmation email after you register.
