Día de los Muertos: A Celebration of Life & Remembrance
Join us for a celebration of Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead), a Mexican tradition that honors and remembers loved ones who have passed away.
Experience Mexican culture through traditional decorations, delicious Mexican food, and pan de muerto (a traditional sweet bread enjoyed during this holiday).
Honor a Loved One: Want to include someone special in our celebration? Fill out our photo submission form, and we'll print and frame their photo to display on our community ofrenda (a traditional altar honoring loved ones who have passed away).
Decorate a Skull: Get creative and decorate your own skull-inspired craft to take home as a keepsake!
Everyone is welcome! Come enjoy Mexican food, get creative, celebrate culture, and share memories with the University of Michigan community.
Free food, crafts, and cultural activities!
