Join the Quantitative Methods in the Social Science (QMSS) program for a fun welcome back for the Winter 2026 semester with free food from Pita Way and a chance to win some U-M-themed prizes in the form of a casual, bar trivia-style Family Feud game to spark conversation (no participation in the trivia is required to attend!)! First, you can participate by completing this survey full of fun questions about being a college student at the University of Michigan. Then, join us for free food, music, and a chance to win some Michigan-themed prizes with friends and peers at your tables in a casual, bar trivia-style version of Family Feud!
This version of Family Feud is a little different from the classic game show with Steve Harvey. In our event, we will drop questions off at your tables, and all tables can work together to come up with what YOU think the most popular answers from the survey were (keeping in mind what you responded if you filled out the survey beforehand!). Then, you'll submit your responses to our host, and points will be awarded to teams who guess the correct responses, with more points for their correct order. The team(s) with the most points by the end of all rounds will get a chance to win U-M-branded gear! Fun, easy, and a great way to get to know your QMSS community over free food! (Also, no participation in the Family Feud trivia is required! You can simply drop in whenever you can for the free food and QMSS company!)
This event is open to all U-M students, regardless of their affiliation with QMSS! Please feel free to share this event (and the questionnaire!) with your friends - we simply ask that you RSVP by Wednesday, January 14th so we can get a proper estimate for our food and prize orders!
