Join us for our Campus Scavenger Hunt! This is a fun, low-pressure way to explore campus and meet new people! Race other small teams to find all the campus scavenger clues, which can also be at your own pace if you're not feeling competitive. Meet at the purple couches on the first floor of Couzens Hall at 6:00 P.M. on September 3rd to participate!

You’re warmly welcomed to Couzens Hall with an exciting evening of virtual and hands-on social games to break the ice and getting to know your resident advisors along with your Couzens! A few select video games will be played throughout the night, and a few select board games will be provided for starters. For other modes of play, feel welcome to bring your favorite games of choice to unlock more easter eggs! Event begins Thursday, September 4th at 7PM in the Game Room! 

Come join us for Jeopardy Night! Test our your trivia knowledge as you compete with other teams for ultimate bragging rights and the title of Couzens Jeopardy Champion! Meet us at the Multi Purpose Room at 8PM and feel free to bring others or come solo! Even teams will be assigned at the start of the event. 

Discover your way through UMich’s 3,000+ acre campus by joining us for a virtual campus exploration event. Participants will learn the landmarks and hidden gems of the campus through viewing a curated slideshow, including travel directions from Couzens Hall. Posters will be hung up, highlighting the spots mentioned in the slideshow and including the history of each location. A physical and digital brochure will be available for participants as a takeaway for residents. By highlighting the rich history and beautiful architecture of the university, residents will be informed and motivated to travel across campus.

Join us for Couzens Hall's first ever Mario Kart World Tournament to show you skills and prove YOU are the very best. This Mario Kart Tournament will also be a fun way to get to meet other Couzens residents and have a fun being competitive in a safe environment!

The Michigan vs Oklahoma football game will be turned on around 7:20 in the game room and students anywhere in the dorm will be able to come downstairs and watch the game, as well as eat food and have some drinks if they desire.

Meet in Palmer Lounge in Couzens Hall at 1:30pm on Saturday, September 27th and we'll head over as a group. Everyone will get a buddy or a group to stick with during the trip!

It’s not about how much you know about the sport it’s about having fun, connecting with neighbors, and creating that cozy, shared Sunday vibe that brings people together when there’s no stress from classes or assignments. At 12:45 doors open, and residents arrive, grab snacks, and settle in. "Pick the Score" game available where everyone guesses the final score.

Need a quick study break? Come join your neighbors for a lighthearted paper airplane contest in the lounge! Residents will each have a few minutes to fold their best airplane out of a single sheet of paper, then compete to see whose plane flies the farthest, the straightest, and looks the coolest. Winners will earn bragging rights, but everyone gets a chance to laugh, relax, and connect with others.

The bracelet-making event on January 20th at 7:00 PM is designed to create a welcoming, low-stress environment where residents can ease back into dorm life while engaging in a creative and social activity. The event will be set up as a drop-in craft night with a variety of materials such as beads, elastic string, embroidery floss, letter beads, and charms, allowing residents to create bracelets they can keep.  As residents work on their bracelets, the activity encourages conversation and connection without the pressure, making it easy for students to socialize early in the semester.
