Scholarships and Fellowships: Virtual Kick-off Sessions!

The Office of National Scholarships and Fellowships would like to invite you to virtual kick-off sessions for ONSF-supported programs! These introductory sessions will provide basic information about programs such as the Truman Scholarship and STEM RCA Award. These sessions are open to students in all years and there will be time for questions after each presentation.

Are you interested in a public service career and looking for scholarship opportunities? Join ONSF for a Truman Scholarship info session!

The Truman Scholarship is a public service scholarship you can apply to in your junior year. It awards up to $30,000 and is considered one of the most prestigious awards an undergraduate can receive. If you want more information on what constitutes public service, learn about ways to be competitive for this award, or have any other questions, come to this info session to meet with ONSF Director Melissa Vert and get your questions answered.

All current freshmen and sophomores are welcome.

ONSF Director Melissa Vert will be available to answer any questions you have about applying for our UK programs such as the Rhodes ScholarshipMarshall ScholarshipChurchill Scholarship, and more!

These opportunities pay for 2-4 years of fully-funded graduate study and are recognized as some of the most prestigious opportunities an undergraduate or recent alum can receive. All majors, GPAs, and years welcome.

The STEM Research Career Award is a U-M based scholarship opportunity for sophomores and juniors in STEM. By applying for STEM RCA, you will also be automatically considered for the national Goldwater Scholarship and Astronaut Scholarship. Join ONSF for an introduction to these scholarships and learn how you can apply now or in the future.
