UMSI Race + Tech Group Speaker Series

At the Race+Tech community in UMSI, we aspire to bring together faculty, researchers and practitioners from diverse backgrounds and academic disciplines to discuss the intersection of race and technology. Our speakers for the Fall term introduced us to the subjects of online expressions of indigeneity in India, the need and ways to include anti-racist curriculum in University courses, and the use of and implications technology for development in Africa. Our speakers included faculty from UMSI, the College of Engineering, and the Ford School of Public Policy.
